Solid middle of the road smattering of people ranging from Casual users to co-sysops!
Tape 1 Review: A glimpse in the life of an average BBS's born in 1980
So the big draw personally is that this guy got into BBS's at the same age and the same year as me, so I my first opinions are biased by how relatable that is. That said, he was a very casual user, no insight into the BBS scene as a whole but good opinions about community being what's missing on the internet today.
End of the interview leads you down a rambling and awkward story about Avara by Ambrosia Software(
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ambrosia_Software) and if you are like me you went googling for Ivara, Nivara and everything else until finding the right one so let me save you the time and give you a youtube link to a video about the game:

Tape 2 Review:
- A good smattering of random folks with the guy at the end taking up the vast majority of the tape. He had the benefit of running a couple BBS's and being a co-sysop. Not sure what more questions one can ask about Co-Sysoping but wish Jason would have dove into that topic more as it is one of the under represented topics in the series.
Nothing ground breaking in the second tape, a bit more interesting than the first but a good listen to overall. I love it when Jason leaves the tape running at the end when the interview is over, you get to easedrop in on their conversation for a few minutes which is always cool. Now I know the conference in 2002 ran out of badges and that at some point that year Jason did 3 guys in 1 day. I think that's called a hat trick in some circles.
Either way, an epic day of filming with it being 4am when Jason ended this one, thanks for putting in the effort!
