considering that it sounds contradictory to may ears to say that "they only way of going up is by going down", why then does the Bible seem to say so? It is true that you have definitely heard about greatness and you might be aspiring to be a great person; but do you really know what true greatness is?
Whom do you think is the greatest person? Is it the person who is served of the one who serves? Can our Civil Servants who are neither civil nor servants rightly claim that they are aspiring for true greatness? Why do men of God who like to be identified as "Servants of God" hate being treated as servants: isn't this ironical?
In this message about true greatness, Pastor Vincent Mbalangu is going to show us from God's word what true greatness is. In this message, we will learn that true greatness is not in your position or in your possessions. True greatness is not in in exercising authority over others, but true greatness is in ministering to others. True greatness is not in being able to give orders, but to follow the orders. True greatness is not in leadership, it is in servanthood.
Considering the fact that our Lord and King, Jesus Christ, was a servant; then it logically follows that we His subjects, must be servants.
Pastor Vincent Mbalangu will concluded this message by encouraging us to pursue servanthood in whatever form it may show up because the greatest among us will only have to be a servant.
Let us now listen to Pastor Vincent Mbalangu as he brings to us God's word on this subject of true greatness.
