Only days after an important ceasefire agreement between the Afghan government and the Taliban went into effect, a deadly string of attacks including a suicide bombing has left 33 people dead across Afghanistan. On our show today we'll hear from activist Kathy Kelly, co-coordinator of Voices for Creative Non-violence who just returned from Afghanistan. She'll tell us about a peace march led by 9 men that has received little media attention. Then we'll go north of the border to speak with Vancouver-based activist and writer Derrick O'Keefe for an analysis of the disastrous G7 Summit in Quebec over the weekend that President Donald Trump reluctantly attended. We'll discuss the fracturing of diplomatic ties between the Western allies under Trump's American rule, and the results of Ontario's provincial elections that resulted in a win for a Trump-like right wing populist named Doug Ford.
