Here is a complete episode of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" from February 1, 2001. Aired over Salt Lake City ABC affiliate: KTVX-TV 4. Before this upload (through what I researched), there was no record of this episode outside of who was on there and their winnings. Now, through the power of eBay, I have this episode preserved and archived for everyone to see. Enjoy everyone! ~ Broc

Here's a treat for ya (and finally an actual, complete, over-the-air recording). Some FOX Kids as aired over Los Angeles, CA FOX affiliate: KTTV-TV 11. This aired during "Beetleborgs: Metallix" and "Power Rangers: Turbo," both of which contain footage that is apparantly not included in the recent Shout! Factory DVD releases of both of these shows. Add on the fact that this was recorded onto Super VHS tape from a Super VHS VCR, and this certainly is a treat. Enjoy! ~ Broc

Here are some more various air-checks from Classic Hits station KYBG-FM 102.1 that I myself recorded back in 2012 on a Panasonic boombox. Hard to believe that these were recorded 10 years ago this year, it's insane how fast time flies by these days. Enjoy! ~ Broc

Here's a tape that I found at a local record shop a few weeks ago. This is a tape containing nothing but music from KZAM-FM 92.5, a progressive rock station at the time, which is now KQMV-FM, a top 40 station. Even though there are no commercials (the original recorder wanted his music uninterrupted), there are some clips from some of the DJ's working at the station at the time. Unfortunately, this commercial cutting even got to the DJ's on the second side of the tape after a while. I have...

Reuploaded here due to some person in a law firm caring about a local commercial from 1999 for some reason. = = = = = Taken during an airing of "The Jenny Jones Show." Aired over Wichita, KS FOX affiliate: KSAS-TV 24. This is the first part of the second tape that was worth archiving from the $13 Kansas eBay tape lot. I will upload a segment of one of the best tapes that I think is really worth sharing tomorrow. It's possibly the best quality version of that segment that is available...

Here is something that I've never done before: upload a full-length feature film! But this is not the kind of feature film that you're thinking of... This is the infamous, shot-on-video cult classic: Boardinghouse! Directed by John Wintergate (awkwardly misspelled in the opening credits and the box art), and stars him and his wife, Kalassu Wintergate. This is also infamous for being the very first feature-length horror movie that was shot-on-video, and released to the consumer market. Very...

This came from a Goodwill in New Iberia, LA. This is not a copy of the show that is currently on YouTube. This is straight from a dubbed VHS. Beside the ridiculous looking camera effects that seems to have come from the master recording (the other existing recording seems to come from the same source: most likely a Sony 8mm Handycam), this is pretty much the same show, deinterlaced to 60p, full frame 4:3 aspect ratio. I also noticed that the audio cuts in and out at the beginning of the show,...

And now, I present to you a project that has been almost a week in the making, excluding the commercial breaks that will be uploaded onto YouTube. Here is an entire seven plus hour tape filled with nothing but Robotech and Centurions episodes. I had originally purchased this tape (and another tape) on eBay back two years ago (nearly to the day) for $20 each. If I'm going to be honest, I was purchasing this more for the commercial breaks than anything else. Now that I'm realizing the copyright...

Here's another excellent tape that came from the New York tape lot. Apparently, this contains syndication prints that do not contain the laugh tracks (as opposed to the network version). This is great for me, because I much prefer these episodes without the laugh track. I think that cartoons with laugh tracks feel super forced and awkward (sort of like Butch Hartman's zoo animal cartoon pilot that never got picked up), and I'm glad that PIX aired the superior version of this show. Found in a lot of 19 used blank tapes for $50, this tape (along with another tape that will be uploaded soon) is, without a shadow of a doubt, the greatest find I've ever stumbled across anywhere. It's more the fact that I had no idea if there would be any commercial breaks retained that really kept my interest peaked. That and these two tapes are the sole reason why I purchased this 19 tape lot in the first place. While the auctions for these tapes were going on, I managed to message the...

This was a big surprise as I was looking through my grandfather's surviving VHS tape collection. Not only do I think that this does not exist in the tape trading circuit, but this is not even in the J! Archive currently. Let me be the one that changes these circumstances for this RARE, early season 11 episode of Jeopardy! The very unfortunate thing about this recording is that this was near the end of the tape, and as a result does not include the Final Jeopardy! round. I would have figured...

Here's one of the tapes that was included in the tape lot of a lifetime. This was purchased within a 19 tape lot for $50. There was a specific reason why I purchased this lot, which is something you will see later. These episodes aired over WPIX-TV 11 in New York City. There will be more tapes from...

From the Iowa lot I ordered almost two years ago. This is my number one biggest surprise from the entire lot. Never would I have thought that with a label like "Thanksgiving Stories" I would have some ultra rare Nick Jr. content. Here's to hoping that this doesn't get taken down! Also, I do not  take requests, under any circumstance, even of it's for a tape I actually have. I'll get to what I want, when I want to... This was a big surprise while trying to find a tape to skim through. Never in my life would I have thought I would have any piece of USA Up All Night, but here we are. There was some more Up All Night stuff recorded (labelled as "Hamburger"), but unfortunately it was recorded over with a USA Network airing of "Sixteen Candles" from around the same time. Nevertheless, enjoy this rare piece of cable TV history! ~ bd

From the Iowa lot purchased almost two years ago (I literally purchased about 100 tapes from this lot, so it's been taking me a long time to sit through and archive most of these tapes). Here's an ultra rare episode of an equally rare show called "Biograph Days Biograph Nights," hosted by one Ira Gallen. This show seems to cover the nostalgia of the 1950's and 1960's and showcases some rarely shown commercials and content from that time period, all from Mr. Gallen's extensive film...

A bit of a surprise from a tape found at Goodwill. The disappointing part about this tape is that the recording starts in the middle of the third quarter. As such, it is incomplete. Hopefully this isn't the only copy of this game in the world... maybe there's a website that has the full game somewhere, I don't know. There are a few other things on that tape, but I'm not sure if I'm down to archive them, as the other two programs on here are a Civil War documentary and a local nature...

From the same tape as the Jeopardy episode and the cNet Central episode. This was another big surprise, as I was expecting some racing/technology stuff on here, but, as is VHS tradition, there was quite a bit of variety in terms of the programs, because before this was an episode of RaceLine, which I may leave as a download link, since the chronological order I put this tape into my Archive page would be out of whack. From the same tape as the WCBS cartoons from 3/23/1985. This is, in my opinion, the cream of the crop on this tape, even though one commercial break is paused out completely. I think that this is the earliest Saturday morning content I currently own, as the Popeye cartoons most likely come from a local Saturday morning block. The info I have on the Charmkins is tentative as well, mostly because the one commercial break that was paused out most likely contained a station ID and some promos for...

Here's a retransfer from the Iowa tape lot, and one of my biggest surprises in the entire lot! Here is one of the biggest oddities in my entire archive: an "air check" of FM-station WGUF-FM 96.7, branded as "Stereo 97." This is, of course, the flip side of the WQID air check that I uploaded earlier. However, with the information that I posted in that upload, and the station ID I've presented here, that is all tentative, because in all of the research that I did to come to a conclusion, I did not find a single definitive thing about this particular station. Something completely different here, content from a reel-to-reel tape! This was purchased at a flea market that included a reel-to-reel player (a Sansui SD-3030) for $40. That was actually a really good deal in the long run, because we've got some early-80's goodness on here! Including this rare aircheck from (formerly) WQID-FM out of Biloxi, MS. Here's, funnily enough, one of the gems of the Iowa VHS lot. A complete episode of the horror movie host-oriented show "Saturday Nightmare." This isn't the USA Network version, however. This is quite possibly the very first time an episode of the original, local, KCRG-TV version of this show has come to light on the internet. Aside from a 10-second promo on YouTube, this is the only proof this show exists. Needless to say, I think I'm showcasing some lost media here. Enjoy, everyone,...

Here is a re-transfer of a classic Saturday morning tape using my new setup. Aired over NBC affiliate KPRC-TV 2 out of Houston, TX, there is a one-and-a-half hour block of Smurfs followed by an episode of the ALF animated series (with bumpers including the main cast of the short-lived NBC sitcom "My Two Dads"). Here's a rarity that I've decided to re-transfer, because I thought that the original transfer looked particularly grainy: an ultra-rare, complete episode of the mostly-lost TV series "Kay O'Brien." From what I recall, only 13 episodes (a full seasons worth) were made, and only 8 ever aired on CBS. After CBS took it off, the Lifetime network ran the entire series, including the episodes that didn't make it to prime-time. Enjoy this brand new re-transfer, and stay safe! ~ bd
