A review of the sociological, anthropological, and political interpretations of community was also undertaken as a means frame the relationship...

John Walton, an independent auditor claims that the existing local waste contractor on Waiheke, Clean Stream, has been "canvassing" City Vision councillors, which is forbidden under the tender rules. This speech by Councillor Cathy Casey was given at the Auckland City Development Board meeting about the tender for waste services on Waiheke. The councillor excused herself from this contentious process due to having a "conflict of interest" in that she represented the concerns of Waiheke residents rather than corporate and bottom line interests of the tender process.
