Audio recording of the introductory session given to the Adams County School District #14 on August 9, 2007. This talk framed the discussion we would be having over the two days of workshops and introduced participants to "chatcasting": we created a backchannel in skype for chatting about the presentation involving people from various points around the globe and archived it on a wiki for further reflection following the event. The last 2 minutes and bit are missing from this file. See...

An interactive QuickTIme SlideShow of a presentation I gave to a a pre-k through grade 8 school (students aged 3 to 13 years) on March 30, 2007. I'm not sure if the embedded links will function directly from the video so I'll add an annotated list of them on my blog where I will link to this video.

A 16 minute, 20 second video lession on Transforamtions of functions: vertical and horizontal stretches, compressions and reflections. The audio, for some reason, is about 12 seconds ahead of the video. Also, I misspoke ans described the tranformation y=f(-x) as a reflection over the x-axis. That is wrong. y=f(-x) describes a reflection over the y-axis.

A screencast of the presentation I had planned to give at the Personal Learning Environments Syposium at the University of Manitoba on January 26, 2007. I learned at the last minute that they did not have an internet connection. All my presentation materials were online on a wiki (http://vlcsymposium.pbwiki.com/Darren). I decided, afterwards, to publish it nonetheless as this video file ... and so I ignored the 15 minute time limit.
