The Children Of Mu return with a 2 song EP (don't worry, each song is about 10 minutes long), and continue in their "Dark Fusion" sound. TCoM could be described as a cross between 1970s electric period Miles Davis, and 1990s experimental music. Each song lays down a dark groove that evolves organically while building on tension and transformative energy. credits released August 6, 2019 Justin Wierbonski - Electronic Drums Dab Nichols - Electric Bass Panan Glepps - Electric Guitar...

I continue on my recurring "Aquatic Ambient" theme on Blood Reef, except this time I take it to darker territories. The album starts out on the surface calm and peaceful enough, but slowly drifts deeper and deeper into delirium, then finally into the horrors of the deep. But we discover that even in the darkest and scariest depths of the ocean, we can find beauty when we least expect it.  Fans of Steve Roach, Klaus Schulze, Brian Eno, and Robert Rich should all like this release.

This is a unique minimal and dark work that could be described somewhat as drone-ambient fused with avantgarde and improvisational music. This album is a Duo of Dan Hosker and Jay Reeve. Jay had sent it to me after Dan passed away, and I really fell in love with it. Everything Dan took part in was always great, but I find something especially unique about the interplay between him and Jay on this album.  Nacht is an extremely moody and atmospheric recording of improv music of drums, guitar, cello, synths and unknown sounds.
