This is a film documenting the controversial December 1947 first fight between Jersey Joe Walcott and Joe Louis. Louis won a 15-round decision in which he struggled to counter Walcott’s unorthodox style. Louis was knocked down in the first and fourth rounds, and many believed he had lost the fight.
