KPEN was one of the first "smooth jazz" stations, it broadcast on 97.7 FM from the Old Mill mall in Los Gatos CA. KPEN went off the air in the late 80's and 97.7 became the second home for KFOG's South Bay broadcasts.

I attended a Yardbirds show at a British pub in Campbell CA in the late 90's, but this is a radio broadcast from Germany from the Leverkusen festival in 1997 with the same band members.
