Group of 19th century Quebecois missionary letters, printed on folio sheets by lithography in manuscript format. Appears to have been printed periodically in small numbers as updates on travels and missionary experiences for the benefit of those studying to become missionaries. Includes several letters by Pierre Jean de Smet.
The earliest of the Boston College newspapers, the Stylus was founded by students in 1883. The paper featured literary contributions, as well as alumni, athletics, and other college news. By 1933, the Stylus was entirely an undergraduate literary magazine; it continues as such today.
