Performances by Lauren and Paddy, David Ross Lawn, Joe Janci, and JoGa. Lauren and Paddy, It all started when Paddy O'Shea asked his friend Lauren Tucker to sing some silly song he'd written. She agreed ... something magical happened ... and they have been playing together ever since. The acoustic duo's repertoire spans the decades, and includes swatches of soft rock, pop, R&B, country, jazz and novelty songs, along with originals. They play at area cafes, restaurants, private parties and open mics and are delighted to be making their second Cafe Improv appearance. David Ross Lawn is a young published and commissioned composer, originally from Scotland, where he achieved an undergraduate performance degree in Oboe & Piano. He is now a student at Westminster Choir College in the final semester of his graduate degree in Theory & Composition. His compositional output features choral work and art songs. Here at Cafe Improv, he will perform solo piano improvisations and pieces.
