Two Star Town
Sadly, only for the dedicated film fan. Some decent scenes and Glenda Farrell gets enough wise cracks, but plot and Edgar Buchanan's speech at the end makes the film pretty weak. A good cast in a sub-par story. One way to tell if a movie is good, does it seem slow? This one did.

film noir actresses
An interesting but not great film, remarkable because the cast contains Linda Darnell, Leslie Brooks, Constance Worth and Rosemary DeCamp who all featured in notable noir type films. They represent women who congregate at a boarding house adjacent to the prison in which their men are incarcerated. Some have been there for years. Linda Darnell has the starring role as the loyal fiancee of a man wrongly imprisoned. She decides to wait too, and endeavour to have the injustice corrected.
