Jesus Welcomes Children (Mark 10:13-16): The first in a three week series thinking about welcoming. God has graciously welcomed us into his family through Christ; in turn we express God’s heart as we likewise open our arms to welcome others. In this talk we see the welcome that Jesus extended to children in his ministry, but not only does Jesus welcome children he sets them before us as models of the true nature of discipleship. We will consider what that means for the life of our church as we seek for God’s values to be seen in our community.
