Chet Kasedon (Monte Blue) is after the Indians hidden gold mine but Chief Moya (Buster Crabbe) will not reveal it's location. He has also hired mining engineers Gale (Tom Keene) and Mortimer (Robert Cummings) to locate the mine. When Gale sees Kasedon's cruelty to Moya, he switches sides.

Tom Keene, Obnoxious & Robert Cummings, Silly
One of the worst, even though Buster Crabbe (Moya), the Indian leader and the Indians win. Crabbe gives a dignified portrayal of the Chief and there are good social politics in an otherwise disappointing movie. Smiling Tom Keene forces himself on beautiful Marsha Hunt - yes, she likes him and marries him at the end - but the way Keene goes about courtship is obnoxious and hard to take. IMDb says Hunt, active from 1925-2008, appeared in 115 movies/TV shows - not a shameless self promoter, her career stalled in the 1940s and McCarthy-era blacklisting in the 1950s again kept her from stardom. Robert Cummings, in an early supporting role, plays a whiny, insipid, somewhat stupid mining engineer who constantly wishes he were somewhere else - he provides comedy, if you can call it that - well, no fault of his, that's what the script and director asked for. Monte Blue gives a low key edge to the vile, murderous gang boss. Yes, its watchable - there's action, music (on the piano) and humor of an insipid sort - if that mix is your idea of fun. IMDb says 59)), we only get 55:16 - and that's more than enough.
