I produced and recorded this CD in about 2000-2001. This particular album was a collection of collaborations and a couple of newer solo songs. This was before I went to digital recording ( that came in 2002 with the album “Disappearing Act” with Eric Wallack). So, the sound quality is lo fi in many spots from being recorded on my well worn TEAC 4 track.
The tracks from Achim Treu, Joe Menichetti, Toshi Hiraoka & Dan Susnara, and John Sosnowski were provided on CD. The tracks with Aku Tardiff were done live ( with multi tracking) in my garage.
The Beyond Fake “concept” behind this album was roughly about being so fake that the lines of reality were blurred. Like life is nothing but a TV commercial, something like that.
