Subject: OMG - EPIC Throwing Stones
To realize that a lot of people at these shows weren't born when many of these songs were first sung. And kids born the year Jerry died are graduating high school and are off to college soon. I have never been more Grateful for the Dead than ever. Their music can do for me what no pill can, bring me out of a daily funk.
I am so blessed to be able to bear witness to the enduring power of this music over nearly 50 years. The Dead, in any incarnation are the only ones who can bring me into that realm of being that soothes my soul.
Thank God for the Grateful Dead, and everyone who continues to play their music and dance their asses off to it over the LONG STRANGE TRIP IT'S BEEN.
