Subject: A great night nobody saw...
Dang, I've had a recording of this show for years. I ended up giving it to George, although he told me years later that he had it on DAT. It was a Friday show at Mexicali just before the holidays, and there were maybe 50 people there. I was tucked down on the rail, stage right, and got down like mad. Just a blazing night of of funky music. Apparently, the "Junco Partners", as they called this conglomerate of badasses, put the band together for a 1-off in DC, but decided to do a few shows (5 total?) while they had time in their schedules.
I can help fill in a couple of the missing song titles.
