Note 1: I talked to the sound guys and with Jerry's blessing
they said I could have their recordings. No guarantees what
their quality/completeness will be, and it might take a while
to get them, but I hope to have an upgraded recording soon,
hopefully including the 2 missing songs from night 1.
Note 2: I know very little about post production and sound editing,
so I want it to be known that anyone is always welcome to download
the lossless files of anything I ever record and edit/re-master
them, if the interest is there.

There were probably about 8-10 hardcore fans who traveled up primarily for the shows. That's an estimate, of course. The crowd thinned out dramatically by Sunday night.
I don’t understand why people EVER go to ANY shows just to talk the whole time, whether in their hometown or otherwise. I hate that, but I'm learning (slowly, as usual) to stop worrying about it since I can't control it. It doesn't help the live experience or recordings, though.
Everyone we met at Alyeska (and Alaska in general) were really friendly, especially the sound crew and hotel staff. The fantastic weather after a long, dark winter sure didn't hurt!
Subject: hmmm..better than the first night
Is there a lot of people at these shows that are FROM Alaska? Or is it a bunch of jjj fans that travel up there? cuz if it’s the travelers, I don’t understand why you’d travel that far to talk with your friends during the entire show. I guess I’ll cut resident Alaskans some slack.
As a deadhead to the core, my jury is still out on the morning dew.
Jeff crosby’s work on climb to safety is pretty good.
Highlights for me are: happy book thru beautiful dirt and the she’s going out.
Thanks for letting me listen!
