( darya )it's official: kendall jenner has taken athleisure to a whole new level. the model wore sparkly knee-high boots (which cost a cool $10,000) to support her rumored boyfriend blake griffin at a los angeles clippers game on saturday. jenner sat court side for the event and paired the bejeweled saint laurent shoes with ripped jeans and a white turtleneck sweater. she pulled her hair up into a ponytail and had on a statement red lip. but it isn't the first time the 22-year-old has stepped out in the statement boots. having recently celebrated her birthday, she wore a similar outfit - replacing the sweater with a crop top - letting the boots (and her abs) do the talking. ( darya )back in february this year, moschino staged a runway show worthy of a zoolander
7:51 am
finale: an entire collection inspired by and made from trash.sashaying along the milan fashion week runway, the jeremy scott-designed fall/winter 2017 line raised eyebrows, trolling us all with tongue-in-cheek sass and subtle sustainability messaging. it was quite something.see also: tiffany & co. is selling a $9,000 ball of yarn and everything is ridiculouscouture fashioned from and inspired by thrown-away plastic bags, tissues, cardboard boxes was the talk of the week - and it's the kind of dadaist theatricality fashion gets sháá for all the time. but now, off the runway, some of the collection is available to buy, and people are kiiiinda seeing it for what it genuinely looks like: garbage. the new york post picked up that some of moschino's ready- to-wear pieces have pretty questionable price tags for what they actually are. take the above piece, for example, a "dry cleaning cape overlay dress." yeah. stay with us. it's a sleeveless plastic sack emblazoned with typical dry cleaner messaging and it's going for #560 ($737). that doesn't include the slip. online retailer browns paired the listing with a description, which referred to the dress as "the only kind of laundry you'd be willing to do (for your trusty au pair takes care of that kind of stuff)." let's be real here. it's a $700 plastic dry cleaning bag, not dissimilar in form or probable lifetime to a last- minute diy music festival poncho. and how do you wash it? do you get it dry cleaned?
7:52 am
do you get another bag dress back? look, you've gotta love a good press-hungry fashion moment, whether it's tiffany selling a $9,000 ball of yarn or chanel's $1,930 boomerang rip-off which was wrong on so many levels. heck, that ikea/balenciaga copycat bag thing was a ride too.but this is some kind of warhol-level trolling and i don't know whether to be mad or impressed. let's see how it sells. ( darya )more than 25,000 kevin james fans are supporting a change.org petition that calls for the "king of queens" actor to replace kevin spacey on "house of cards."james, 52, currently stars on the cbs series "kevin can wait," alongside his former "king of queens" co-star leah remini. but fans would like to see him in the oval -- at least on netflix's "house of cards."a rep for james did not return fox news' request for comment. spacey, 58, has been fired from the show following several sexual assault allegations against him that have emerged in recent days. spacey plays the villainous president frank underwood on the series.robbie pyma started the petition last week, and in five days it garnered more than 25,000 signatures."i think kevin james can elevate 'house of cards' to a globally adored franchise like 'game of thrones' and make the entire world focus on one of the most important netflix original series there is," pyma wrote. the petition states it is directed to netflix ceo reed hastings. netflix has stated "house of cards" will end after the upcoming sixth season. the streaming service decided the sixth season would
