this happened behind the "el brinquito restaurant" on piner road. police found the homeless man's body near the scene. police say the victim had several injuries from blunt force trauma. ( darya ) we're getting more details from the disappearence of a daly city woman last seen in downtown san francisco. a news conference was held yesterday. just a few hours after police released survelliance video of missing woman 38-year-old christa mahoney... last seen at johns grill on ellis street. mahoney disappeared saturday afternoon after eating lunch at the restaurant. cameras show her wearing an orange and white baseball cap... walking with her dog buddy. mahoney ...who speaks with an english accent... lives in daly city... so the daly city police department is leading the investigation into her disappearance. but so far... they don't suspect foul play.

the hospital in greenbrae.sara? engineers and imaging technicians are fed up with contract negotiations saying marin general is threatening to make their current health plan even more expensive.in about an hour there will be about 20 engineers out here and 65 imaging technicans.the techinicians contract ended in october while engineers contract expires today.their current plan allows employees to choose their doctors and pay a reasonable amount to insure themselves and their families.however - the new plan would force many employees to find new doctors because it doesn't include access to nearby hospitals operated by kaiser permanete or sutter health.a main general spokesperson says compared to other hospitals in the area the hospitals proposed healthcare plan are very generous.the hospital says the proposed plan would be free to eligible employees
and their families with access to u-c-s-f health, marin general and three other hospitals in the region.the unions are still working to find a mutually agreeable contract - but employees don't feel like they're being heard so they're holding this strike. the hospital will function without disruption and all departments will remain open during the strike.it will begin at six and go until four today - it is an open ended strike - as employees are ready to continue until they get what they want.live in greenbrae, sara stinson, kron four news

( james ) p-g&e says it plans to compensate victims of the wildfires. but the plan is leaving a lot of people frustrated and unsatisfied. the details came to light during another day in bankruptcy court. attorneys for the utility say they want to establish a trust fund to resolve all lawsuits from wildfire victims. they say the money would expedite payments to impacted families. but attorneys representing northern california wildfire victims are not buying it. attorneys for pg&e said they did not file for bankruptcy to avoid potential responsibility for california wildfires in 20- 17 and 20-18. this bankruptcy process is a long one and more hearings are coming this month at the federal courthouse in san francisco. ( darya ) this just in. a restaurant owner in san mateo is responding to criticism after he implied that people wearing make america great again hats ... would not be allowed in his restaurant. the co-owner of the wursthall restaurant said in a tweet ... "maga hats are like white hoods but stupider because you can see exactly who is wearing them." the tweet has since been deleted after he received several threats. restaurant goers say they have mixed feelings about his words.
( darya ) this morning the co-owner released an apology. he says he will serve all customers regardless of political opinions ... as long as they leave hate, anger, and violence outside the restaurant. ( james ) in national news... president trump and congress agreed to fund the government through febrary 15th so that congress could work on a long term funding deal. so how do things stand this morning?( darya ) our washington correspondent alexandra limon is live in washington d-c. ( alex )what happened this week is congress appointed 17 lawmakers to a conference committeewhich includes democrats and republicans from the house and senate.and the committee met for the first time on wednesday - to try to hash out a long term funding deal and try to avoid another government shutdown in just two weeks.most lawmakers
expressed optimism about being able to do thatdemocrats saidthey're willing to give more money for border security including technology like cameras and sensors on the border. which they feel are both more efficient and cheaper than a physical wall or fence.during that first committee meeting - republicans insisted in the meeting that a physical barrier is needed and they feel that president trump already compromised by agreeing to open the government whle these negotiations happen.but president trump is not as optomistic about the outcome he's said several time he does not think lawmakers will be able to work out a deal. and he also said this yesterday at the whtie house let's switch gears a bit and talk about the 2020

( darya )(ááá2 shotááá) now to our big story out of the north bay. a marine veteran accuses a vallejo officer of excessive force. the whole incident was caught on camera.( james ) now an internal investigation is underway within the department. gayle ong spoke with the man and vallejo police. this is cell phone video adrian burrell, a u.s. marine veteran, shot and posted on social media..a confrontation with a vallejo police officer.. burrell took the video at his vallejo home,he says he was waiting for his cousin, shown here on the motorcycle.. with his helmut on..sotthat's when burrell pulled out his
phone and started filming. that's when he says the officer started to approach him..he says the officer started to get physical with him...which is why the camera is shaking.burrell's camera ultimately ends up on the ground..he claims the officer gave him a concussion... the incident happened on january 22nd.both burrell and his cousin michael walton were detained.he says the officer let them go after he found out he was a veteran.the police chief was made aware of the video circulating on social media thursday afternoon,an internal investigation was launched right awaysince then, both men have hired attorneys, their lawyers say the officer was out of line..sotburrell and his cousin have not filed a formal complaint yet,they hope to have a conversation

( darya ) in the south bay. tainted fuel may be to blame for damaging the engines of several vehicles ... all of which used fuel from the same gas station. the green propel fuel pumps at the capitol expressway chevron in san jose have been shutdown since saturday. the fuel from those pumps is 85-percent ethanol and 15-percent gas. customers who used them saw their engines stall out ... moments after driving off. propel crews have been checking the in-ground tanks to find out if the fuels somehow got mixed up. in the meantime --- the pumps at that station are closed until further notice. the company says it will makes things right with customers on
repairs and rental cars if needed. the chevron gas pumps are not affected. chemotherapy drug and we incorporate them into a 3- dimensional structure so we can use it in the body">sot this graphic illustrates the sequence of how the chemo is injected into the tumor, then instead of the excess drug escaping into the body, it is absorbed by the chemo sponge. uc berkeley professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering dr. nitash balsara sotthe sponge was tested on liver of pigssot
