just after midnight.. 34-year-old kenneth jack kennedy was pulled over for a routine traffic stop.. he took off and hit two police cruisers... and drove toward a deputy. we're told... that's when the deputy shot and killed kennedy. his wife was in the car at the time.. but was not hurt. the deputy is on paid administrative leave... during the investigation. and... a person is recovering in the hospital this afternoon.. after a shooting near fremont and charleston. police say it happened just before 9-30 this morning.. a possible suspect is in custody. the victim is expected to be okay. the countdown to the election continues.. and we're getting quite a few v-i-p visitors.. v-p joe biden rallied in vegas today.. fox5's alyssa deitsch joins us in studio.. to tell us all about it, alyssa? as we get down to the tenth day before election day-- things heated up outside the rally at carpenters union
