"he was one of the few men i could look up to without being disappointed." he served for more than 20 years. he leaves behind four children. twenty years in prison for trying to lure a 15-year- old
according to the plea agreement, kevin carpenter of mount vernon placed an ad on craigslist titled, "looking for young boy." an undercover iowa d-c-i agent saw the post and arranged to meet carpenter in august of 2014 --where he admitted everything and was arrested. dramatic surveillance video shows an armed bank robbery. you'll see the suspects drive up to the colorado bank and run inside. the men pull out their guns and start pointing them at the employees. the two did manage to get away -- and the f-b-i says they should be a motorcycle rider led officers on a high speed chase in l-a last night. the biker wove in and out of traffic and between cars before crashing right into the side of a car and getting knocked off his bike. police chased the man as he took off down an alley. police arrested him shortly thereafter. a massive fire overtakes - what used to be - a steel plant. take a look at the flames and thick black smoke coming from
the smoke seen from miles away and explosions reportedly heard before the roof collapsed. hundreds of firefighters on scene battling the huge fire -- luckily nobody was hurt. no word on the cause. dozens of students sick after being exposed to a strong smell of gas. 58 people taken to a hospital. the smell in pennsylvania causing multiple elementary schools to evacuate. at this point, crews don't know where the gas smell came from -- they're still looking into it. general motors is laying off the company has had any layoffs in six years. g-m says most of the jobs being cut are in ohio and michigan. the company has 97-thousand workers in the u-s. they have added 20-thousand since bankruptcy reorganization seven years ago. during this week's elections -- voters in one city -- had to decide whether it should even exist. the small henry county city of mount union tying on the issue -- 31 to 31. people have been talking about the issue for months,.

"wow, cool!" just four years old, but and a fighter all his life. ari has congestive heart failure. he's had three open- heart surgeries -- two before he don't know what his future holds, but if you look at him you zest and a love of baseball keeps him smiling. a fire. here's a look at the smoke coming from the fire -- which burned through a cedar falls evidence storage building sunday morning. police say everything inside the building was lost in the fire. we know when an iowa man will be sentenced for a crash that left several students hurt. monte klink pleaded guilty. authorities say he tested positive for meth after the crash. court documents show he was driving an s-u-v near manchester last year when he didn't yield to a west delaware school bus. the bus rolled -- and some of the students were injured. klic in prison. he'll be sentenced january 18th. two people are in the hospital after a plane crashed in florida. this was the second plane crash in that area yesterday. two people were killed after another plane went down earlier in the day. here's video of that scene. the plane crashed into a field. the pilot and the passenger died. the f-a-a and n-t- s-b are now looking into it... trying to a courtroom turns upside down.
