Scary. Very frightening.
Nearly three hours of CIA machinations, the arms trade, and denial, denial, denial! There are allegations of government complicity in heroin smuggling, political meddling in the military (and vice versa), and a request for "Boogie Oogie Oogie... CIA style!" Another caller demands as many carts as possible played all at once (hear all three at 1:06:57), and then there's the predictable complaint about "AM radio" music following a disco number. Perhaps the show itself was subject to secret meddling by Dick Vaughn?
At the start of all this is a talk radio segment in which a government agent insists "the public has to know what's really going on" while resolutely stonewalling all attempts to get this important information out of him. This leads to the funniest aspect of the episode-- every caller to ask Don Joyce anything gets an agreement that theirs is a vital question, followed by a recitation of the would-be whistleblower's litany of excuses. I laughed out loud at the first of these exchanges (35:08), and never thought the gag got old. Truly, this was the world before Assange, before Manning, before Snowden (afterwards too, if we're being realistic... *sigh*).
