Note:
- The date mentioned in the original caption (Tuesday 15 June 1993) cannot be correct, as the volunteers only left Makira on 21 June 1993 (cf. picture 93), presumably only then going to Honiara. The first dated photograph which mentions having returned to Honiara is dated 24 June 1993 (cf. picture 95). The photograph must have been taken somewhere in June 1993, but not earlier than the 21st.
- Here, "the Projects" most likely refer to "Project Solomon Islands 1993", by "Youth Challenge International", supported by Rotary International (cf. picture 3 and picture 5). The first project seems to have been the "prevention of malaria" on the island of Ulawa, Makira-Ulawa Province (cf. picture 73) and the second project seems to have been "the construction of a small clinic in Na'hana" (cf. picture 39 and picture 55).
Original Spanish caption to this photo:
- Martes 15 junio 93. Pedro y yo en la Clausura de los Proyectos en Hotel Hibiscus en Honiara.
Translation:
- Tuesday 15 June 1993. Pedro and me during the Closure of the Projects in Hibiscus Hotel, Honiara.
