From IMDB: The future looks bleak for Captain Pirk. Originally from the far future, he traveled back to save the world, but was shipwrecked on the 21st century. The world of the past is a dangerous place and he is finding it difficult to convince the ladies he is, in fact, an intergalactic space hero from the future. To make things right Pirk comes up with a questionable plan to save mankind's future...

I take umbrage with the previous reviewer who declared that this was a "no budget film". Anyone who has ever been involved with any sort of media production will look at this and declare that there was a significant budget. I see a lots of costume, sets, and was this shot on film? Wow! I've worked real "no budget" productions where the director/producer budget was money he borrowed for pizza and beer at the wrap party. The actors made and brought their own costumes and a set was anyplace that the police didn't come and kick you out of. In spite of the handicaps the final product came out looking better than much of the trash that comes out of Hollywood. Take that!
As far as the movie goes the jokes are pretty flat but it looks good and sounds good. Couldn't watch the whole thing but I would prefer there weren't any subtitles. Especially joke subtitles.

A marvellous Star Trek/B5 crossover
This Finish fan film is a marvellous crossover between Star Trek and Babylon 5. Not to be missed by fans of either show.

I am not sure why I like this enough for a 4. It was pretty funny, especially in the first half. The long battle in the second half didn't hold my attention as well. All in all it is much better than most other space comedies

A really great movie!!
This is one of the best Sci-Fi movies I've watched in a long time; the special effects are absolutely great and the irony satisfies my taste for non-sense!! For a better quality download and other formats visit the official home page for this flick at:
It has a lot of other information and previous versions of Star Wreck that lead one through the evolution of this genre up to the present.

not that good
It was somewhat funny but it wasn't as good as a five nor well acted enough to get a 4 but a three and a half maybe. I gave it a three to bring down the hype it has gotten here.
It is like a comedy bar movie, with weird comics and sci-fi buff in-humor.
Don’t expect much more.

This was really, really good. If only it would download by Quicktime, then the screen size could be adjusted to really appreciate the visuals, but it's worth a dozen laughs even with the grossly teenage humor, it works because it's pure satire.

I give it 6 stars!
If you want to see satire perfection, this is it! You have to pay attention since the character interplay never ceases. IMHO the special effects blows away anything from the original series. Just writing this makes me want to watch it again. And here it is on my screen. Ain't computers amazing!

VERY FUNNY - VERY WELL DONE -- STUDIO QUALITY EFFECTS!
Once upon a time in Finland, some Trekkers and BABYLON 5 fans decided to make there own little film --
No-siree, I will not call it a 'fan film' as it is a movie that shoulda-woulda-coulda played in theaters with a healthy DVD sales / ad campaign to follow.
The plot? (SPOILER WARNING: Think 'Mirror-Mirror' & 'Assignment Earth' from ST:TOS meets the universe of something from Babylon 5 ... as I never watched the show.)
It's funny -- it has imagination -- it has professionalism despite a zero-budget .... but MOST OF ALL ----- it has heart!
The Special Effects? Hold the modem! The visual effects are BETTER than even STAR TREK, THE NEXT GENERATION -- VOYAGER and on par with ENTERPRISE. That alone is amazing considering they were all done on a desktop computer with from-the-net ship meshes --
In short. wowza! This is how Weta Effects (Peter Jackson's company) did THE FRIGHTENERS ... and look how far they have come since then with LORD OF THE RINGS and especially the reality of the KING KONG characters!
I look VERY forwards to anything this bunch makes in the future. They have a fan in me ... BRAVO times 1701 times!
So there ... and oh, yes -- Live long and prosper, etc.
