The socio-practical motivation of creative research raises a series of fundamental questions to be made sense of. First, what are the limits and the extent of dependence of scientific results on personal incentives and social values? Second, what is the hierarchy of the motivational factors themselves, how they correlate with the structures and mechanisms of society? And third, what the meaning of creative freedom consists in, and how must be understood its relative subordination to the historical-cultural context of epoch?
