INCREDIBLE MOVIE
I can watch this movie over and over again ,have it playing in the background while doing chores. It flows from the beginning to the end ..I get chills every time Scotty sends his news report over the wire.

Best ever
this the best, and a really exceptional “recording”. George Fenniman, from “you bet your life” was the genius who figured out how to kill the thing, which is why Groucho wanted him on his show...maybe.
Great acting, story, filming. and for once the women weren’t just eye candy, they were smart and necessary in the cast. Yahoo.

One of my favorites as a child
This was one of my favorite movies growing up as a baby boomer. A thriller more than a horror film. Has some humorous lines in the dialog that give it a nice touch. Also was James Arness's first movie. Of course most everyone knows him as Sheriff Matt Dillon from "Gunsmoke" fame.

From the beginning the film opens upon then wide expanse of the N. Pole and what are we doing there? but soon the worst scenario develops...a MONSTER whose purpose remains unknown is the focus of the film
