Rea Cichocki is a retired U.S. Army vet. She served for 38 years and her recent service was a 3 year tour in Iraq performing logistics and as an embassy carrier. She joined the WAC in 1968 and retired in 2010. She continues to serve as a Post Service Officer for the American Legion. She is involved with the American Indian Veteran Association and travels to reservations and rural areas, making presentations and encouraging others to get involved and participate in a veteran service organization. It is important to get the word out about benefits for veterans. Interview was filmed at the C.D.V.A. Women Veterans Leadership Conference in San Diego, Sept. 2013.
