Tax season is here and we want to remind county residents that the County’s VITA program returns to assist residents with FREE income tax preparation. Individuals and/or households that made $56,000 or less in 2019, qualify for the free tax service. IRS certified volunteers assisted over 2,000 residents last year...with locations in Silver Spring, Wheaton, Germantown, and Gaithersburg.
