alert meteorologist krystal klei surely did and is joining us now with a look at that gameday forecast. fill us in. >> i felt like i slept seven hours extra. so awake right now. overnight you might have noticed a few scattered showers rolled by the area, but the roads damp and now those showers are out to sea, noer affecting us. we do have a good layer of clouds blanketing our region. now this is pretty scattered, a few thunderstorms embedded. they look like they're weakening. this will likely clip the northern most parts of our viewing area as it progressed through the morning and the afternoon hours it leaves the rest of us with a very isolated chance of a shower. we'll stay dry but cloudy. 60 already in vineland and 62 atlantic city. way warmer than average. coatesville at 52. these temperatures will all make their way into the 60s by later today.

how about 70s tomorrow. we'll talk more about that and what's going on coming up. now to that breaking news out of north philadelphia a teenager is dead, a 12-year-old in the hospital. this after a gunman fired shots no a crowd of teens late last night. nbc 10's randy gyllenhaal is live at philadelphia's new headquarters with more on this investigation. randy, fill us in here. >> reporter: rosemary, police say the teens were just sitting on their front stoop when a gunman came out nof where and opened fire. it's the ages of the victims that makes the case even more disturbing. philadelphia police got reports of gunfire in north philly just after midnight when officers arrived they saw this group of young people and two victims lying in the street including a 16-year-old who was shot in the chest, also in the neck area. police say he was pronounced dead on the scene. investigators also say that a 12-year-old boy was hit by gunfire, shot in the leg. that child was taken to temple

hospital. >> the two victims were with a bunch of other children basically hanging out, sitting on the steps talking. one male shooter, about 5'6" wearing all dark clothing came upon them and started firing into the crowd. >> reporter: police say the gunman then took off running. the search continues this morning. police do say the 12-year-old who was hit in the leg is expected to survive. currently last listed in stable condition. live at police headquarters, i'm randy gyllenhaal, nbc 10 news. let's head now to montgomery county where we have an update on a story we first told you about as breaking news. a man accused of killing his own brother is under arrest on charges of first- and third-degree murder. this morning we're also learning more about the victim in the case. it all unfolded yesterday at this house in kins park. the victim is a homeowner, harry

bachman. officers were called to check on his house. they say bachman died because of blunt force trauma. >> i just asked him if he knew what happened. he said there was a homicide and i said, was it domestic, didn't know a whole lot, and did i hear anything. >> according to investigators the victim's younger brother jamison bachman stole harry bachman's car. police eventually found the car in a nearby hotel. they arrested the younger brother there. now to decision 2017. with the election just two days away, democrat phil murphy and kim guadagno are making their final pitch in the new jersey governor's race. both candidates will be in north jersey campaigning today. yesterday kim guadagno brought her bus tour to ton county. former new jersey governor christie whitman joined the candidate telling people to ignore the polls that show guadagno by double digits. meantime phil murphy got cheers

from the teamster's union. he did talk to the crowd and told them not to listen to attacks from the other side. let's talk some eagles now. the eagles will try to improve their league best record when they take on the denver broncos at lincoln financial field. this is a live look from our eagles nest camera. kickoff is this afternoon at 1:00. before today's game the eagles will continue their tradition of honoring our men and women in uniform as part of the nfl's salute to service. the u.s. army band corps will sing the national anthem as a field sized american flag is unfurled by members of all branches before the game. malcon jenkins and chris long, who have protested for social justice during the anthem, recently participated in a public service announcement about the nfl's initiative and why it matters to them. take a listen. >> i reflect on my grandfather, knowing i get to live my dream

we're back to our visibility map. we've been checking this, a few areas saw patchy fogs. you can see for the most part we're all good now. pretty much all of us are under that. haze in reading. mt. pocono a quarter mile visibility. eagles forecast, 64 degrees at 1:00. by halftime, 66 degrees. mid-60s through the rest of the game. there could be an isolated shower, talking sprinkles that roll by the area. i think for the most part it will be on the dry side of things with just a light breeze

picking up 5 to 15 miles per hour. now high temperatures thursday and friday in the 70s. yesterday a big cooldown and there it was. 59 yesterday. today we start going back on that upward trend. tomorrow some of us are looking at 70s again. we'll talk about how long that lasts before there's an even bigger cooldown coming up. we have some new video of president trump and the japanese prime minister earlier today. the president is on a 12-day trip to asia. the two lead hers lunch following a round of golf in suburban tokyo. they discussed what the prime minister called difficult issues. ♪ >> when the president first arrived in japan allied forces gave the commander in chief a traditional welcome at the air base. president trump traded his suit jacket for a bomber jacket in nod toward north could yeah the president told service members they are the greatest threat to

all right. let's start out with a live picture where it matters looking over the linc here, a gray sky. cloudy conditions pretty much across the entire region. and we're going to stick with that today. cloudy to mostly cloudy late in the day. a few peeks of sun across the entire region are possible. but i think mostly focused near the shore and some parts of south jersey and southern delaware. radar and satellite, the cloud layer, the gray you see, showers have moved well out to sea. we have just a few sprinkles

moving to isburg. they're breaking down as they move our way. that's why we're talking isolated showers in the morning and even the afternoon possible but with a lesser chance the later you go in the day. it's not looking like much of anything. right now temperatures, remember yesterday this man was all shaded in blue because we had a good dip of cool air, chilly in the morning. today it's a bit different. we're at 57 degrees. look at areas like indianapolis, 68 degrees right now. that's impressive for november. it's because, well, there's a cold front to our west. a warm front that is lifting over the area, broken in nature. it's wobbly. but it's pushing in some warm air this is typical ahead of a front. that's what's going to happen today into. so by tuesday things will be much cooler. here's our temperatures currently. if you're getting out the door, we're at 57 right now in graduate hospital. and 57 as well at the airport.

these numbers are well on their way to the 60s. in the afternoon we will hit highs in those 60s. so let's go through this hour by hour. clouds in place right now. temperatures right around the to upper 50s through 10:00 a.m. this morning. now this model is going with too much rain. but i think a few sprinkles are possible as we go 10:00 to noon, a more isolated chance in the afternoon. look here you see just a little bit of green lingering around 7:30. check out the temperatures. right around the low to mid-60s. those will be the highs for today a. warm front passes overnight. by tomorrow morning we're still in the 60s. the morning start temperature, typically when you see our coolest numbers, but we're starting in the 60s. in the afternoon numbers close to the 70s. a cold front will follow this warm front bringing showers starting at 2:00 p.m. from around 2:00 to 4:00 entering philadelphia and from 4:00 to 6:00 moving out of philly. 8:00 to 10:00 it will move off the shore. as it moves throughout the area

next weeks. >> "meet the press" marking 70 years this morning comes your way at 10:30 right here on nbc 10. i'm john clark. the eagles looking to go 8-1 for the fifth time in team history. the other four times they went to the super bowl or the nfl championship game. the birds are averaging 32 points a game over the last month and recently they haven't started fast on offense. over the last three games in the first quarter they have just two field goals. carson wentz wants to change that today against the broncos. >> the whole first quarters of the last two games we're slow, we're sluggish. you don't want to overanalyze it, do anything crazy about it but it is something we talk about, starting fast. and another thing is sometimes teams come out and do different things. you have to figure out what they want to do, what their game plan is.
