were a few accidents in the city, including a two stoplights and a light pole being knocked down. like other cities in the area, kenosha is using a brine solution of salt, water and other ingredients to help remove the snow. officials say they also plan to use 7 thousand tons of salt this winter. a second shift is coming in at midnight to continue clearing the streets even after the snow stops, but the city still wants people to drive safely.
