now to some news from overnight. the red cross saying this morning 5 adults and 9 children are displaced after a fire. it happened at a home near 4th and keefe last night. you can see some of the damage from the outside. we're hoping to get more details about this fire later today. and another fire under investigation at a business on brown deer road. firefighters responded to kangaroo - a family entertainment center just after three this morning.. when our crews arri we're working to get more details about the fire. and milwaukee police investigating a shooting. we're told a 29-year-old man was shot near 44th and stark just before midnight. he was taken to the hospital...and his condition is unknown at this time. no arrests have been made and police continue to investigate. bullets fly on the interstate and a 2- month-old girl was hit while inside a car. this happened on i-43 yesterday. fox 6s derica williams has more on her condition and what happened. she joins us live

and hampton where the scene unfolded and the driver received help. milwaukee county sheriff's deputies closed northbound 43 at keefe and diverted traffic for an hour sunday evening to figure out where the shooting happened. we are told around five oclock yesterday the infant was in a car was going northbound on 43 when shots were fired. after the shooting, the driver got off here at hampton avenue and pulled int witnesses say help arrived fast. the cops were right behind them. it was like a blink of an eye, everybody was here medics treated the girl here before taking her to the hospital. they say her injuries are not life- threatening. the sheriff's office hasn't said what led up to the shooting, or if there are any

a fox6 exclusive. running from the law. a milwaukee area motorist says she captured a suspects daring escape from police custody. the video appears to show a milwaukee police van stopped at a red light - the suspect just opens the backdoor and bolts! fox6s bret lemoine talks to the woman who captured the video about how it all unfolded. at a stop light in the intersection of silver spring and hopkins... 'thats crazy! its like a once in a lifetime thing that would ever happen.' ...cell phone video appears to show a suspect fleeing from the back of a crazy because i thought you cant get out of the inside of a police vehicle!' a witness... who didnt want to be identified... says she was in the backseat of the car right behind the mpd van. her sister was driving... and her boyfriend took this video. she says they noticed something odd a few blocks back. 'i seen like the door bounce.' she says the van eventually got in front of her car... and they both came to a stop at the intersection. the door popped open. 'i noticed an arm was holding it open.' within seconds... the

'he just keeps running down silver spring.' she says another driver pulled up along the police van and apparently told the officer what had happened. the witness says the vans emergency lights went on and the van turned around in the intersection to peruse the suspect... but by that time... our witness says she had lost sight of him. 'the doors flew open and he just went running down the street.' comment by email and telephone but didn't hear back. officers at district four would only refer us to mpd's spokesman for comment. reporting in the newsroom, bret lemoine fox6news. a look at the day ahead... the fight to remove the estabrook dam continues, the city of glendale's common council will meet today to review the request to protect homeowners from flooding. the city has hosted several listening sessions and hearings regarding the dam. if passed, glendale would be one of many organizations that support the dam removal.

a deck collapse injures dozens of people near trinity college in connecticut over the weekend. 31 people were injured saturday night... after three decks -- all attached to the same home fell. officials say the decks were crowded with party-goers. foley says: "these are heavy old decks that came down and at this point you look at the third floor and you see the deck was very rotted and old and structurally not very sound and then you get 50 or 60 kids out there." luckily -- no one was seriously hurt. the home is owned by trinity college but managed by an outside propery both police and the college are investigating the incident. a bus driver is dead and more than a dozen injured after a school bus crash at the denver international airport. the bus was carrying 28 high school football players and four adults from broomfield, colorado. the players reportedly said the driver had a medical issue...and veered off the roadway at the airport, crashing into a concrete pillar. the driver died at the scene. at least 10 were taken to the hospital for injuries...some are in critical

french police have arrested a 16-year- old boy believed to have been planning a terror attack. a security official says france intelligence services "detected a threat"..and that the teen planned to carry out a knife attack in a public place over the weekend. arrest before that could happen. the country's prime minister now warning that some 15-thousand people in france could be in the process of being radicalized. and in australia - a man under arrest for allegedly stabbing a 59-year- old man and attempting to attack an officer in what police are describing as a terrorist act. the 22-year-old was charged with committing a terrorist act and attempted murder after stabbing a man walking through a nature reserve. the victim is in critical condition. according to police -- the suspect says he was inspired by
