he was pronounced dead at the scene. this is on the corner of forest park drive and ritchie road. we have a crew on the scene. a live report - coming up later in the hour. and in montgomery county- a double shooting in silver spring is being investigated as an attempted murder.. a man and woman hit with gunfire near new hampshire avenue. we know the man was hit in the shoulder. her condition is unknown. right now, montgomery county police are looking for two suspects. happening now - a search for suspects after a baby is shot in northeast. it happened near the busy h street corridor. police say there was some sort of gathering, then an exchange of gunfire. the 13monthold boy was caught in the crossfire. we're told the baby is in stable

right now police are looking for two suspects. we'll have mor ein a live report from the scene - coming up at 5:45. breaking overnight - the death toll rising from a marine plane crash in mississippi. officials now confirming at least 16 people are dead. it's still unclear if any are civilians. the k-c 130 transport plane came down in a soybean field late last night. air traffic controllers say the plane had some type of structural failure at 20-thousand feet. investigators are now looking into whether it was actually an explosion, because the debris was scattered over a wide area. right now, teams are searching several miles of fields for any survivors or additional victims. we'll update you as we learn more. happening now.. planes are taking off again from all d.c. area airports, after a huge disruption last night. fumes from construction work got into

center in leesburg. employees were evacuated around 6:40 p.m. for several hours, planes were not allowed to take off or land at reagan, dulles, or b-w-i. brianne carter will have more in a live report coming up at 5:15. after more than a decade, the search is over this morning for a new f-b-i headquarters. it will remain exactly where it is at the j edgar hoover building in downtown. the washington post reports the federal government is canceling a project that would have moved the agency to a campus in the suburbs. the idea was to pay for it by selling the crumbling hoover building to a real estate developer and then using almost two billion in taxpayer dollars to cover the rest of the costs. for years, fbi officials have cited security concerns among its top reasons for wanting to move. we'll have reaction from local officials - coming up later in the hour. congress returning from its recess to protests. take a look at this. 80 people arrested by capitol hill police monday. the demonstrators say they object to republican efforts to repeal
