news to get through first. in frederick maryland a man remains behind bars after being charged with two counts of first degree murder. police say 24-year-old delija joyner arrived a decatur court along with shandre naylor and jermaine jr. police say joyner got into a vehicle and ran over naylor and hill. investigators still trying to find a motive for the attack. >> 4:30 right now and officials in brookeville, maryland, are investigating the cause of a house fire. this family's home went up in slams yesterday just before 6 o'clock. authorities say a father and his son were working in the garage when some sort of accident happened. they were luckily able to escape. the father was treated for smoke inhalation and minor burns. >> incredible video this morning of a bizarre technique used to steal a car from in front of a northeast d.c. home. now at first it looks like a typical car break in and then you see

an suv parked along 24th street and the langdon park in that neighborhood there. fox5 actually had a chance to talk to the owner of the stolen car joshua smith. he says he called 911 six times but got no help. >> there are other higher priorities happening in the city and the police officers have to handle those as -- as priority happens. we were literally sittin in front of a stolen vehicle in an unknown neighborhood with god knows wha what happening around us. >> police showed up an hour later and took a report. smith says he still has not heard from a detective. >> fairfax county public schools need some cash. the northern virginia school district launched a go fund me style page on its web site to raise money for costs associated with changing the name of the j.e.b. stuart high school to justice high school. the district has two years

their hands on that new iphone x today is to stand in line and or sit in line or sleep in line which is what many of these people have been do. i think first in line told us they were here about 2:00 p.m. yesterday. so, it's quite a bit of await but you're right, the weather has been pretty good. why is this such a big deal? well, apple expects that the iphone x is going to be the new smartphone platform for the next decade. there's no home button, the phone uses facial recognition technology to unlock. the cram is even better with the ability to take portrait photos. it features wireless charging and no headphone jack. it has a very sophisticated screen and other features and that apparently may be what's holding up supply. tech analysts are saying apple's manufacturers and suppliers really can't make the phones as quickly as the other models. so, coming around the corner here we can see it goes all the way around the corner here. last check we heard it was probably a little less than a hundred people in line here for
4:34 am
so, the big question again is going to be whether there's going to be enough supply in the store. so, that's what we've been told, basically 93 don't know exactly. all they're telling us is that there's a limited supply in the stores. the big question will be whether these people in line, whether all of them will actually get the phones they're seeking is. back to you guys. >> thank you very much, melanie alnwick. appreciate that report. let's get over to mike thomas now and talk weather 'cause at least the weather as we just talked about is not too bad out there and you already have your iphone that's on the way. >> lucky you. >> yeah, i was one of the lucky few, yeah.
