After a little while of no coin roll hunting, I finally got around to doing another box. I was looking for wheaties, a proof (like in the last box), and Indian Head pennies. Today we get to do something I've really wanted to do for a while: search currency for fancy serial numbers. We bank strap hunt $500 in $1 bills for birthday notes, older notes, trinary notes, star notes, and anything else special like Barr notes, binary notes, or super-repeaters (nearly got a few!!). This currency search was very successful, as we got lots of finds that might be valuable or special to some. I look forward to bank strap searching more in the future - maybe we can find some...

Just got finished finalizing this bank strap hunt for rare currency notes. We were able to do $500 worth of 1 dollar bills and the results proved to be good! We found some really cool notes, from consecutive serial numbers to near-rare notes to birthday notes (11/08/1997 anyone) to of course star notes... I really enjoyed the search. I wonder what the tellers say when I hand them like $985 in ones (from the last hunt too)... preparing to be surprised haha!

I got my hands on a bag of over $500 dollars of face value in 90% silver and couldn't wait to search it! We were sending much of it to APMEX so I asked to search it and potentially find some cool silver coins. Worth well over five thousand dollars, this hunt was a really cool one to be a part of and I enjoyed finding uncirculated Washington Quarters, toned silver quarters, Standing Liberty Quarters, Barber Quarters, Kennedy Half Dollars, Franklin Half Dollars, Walking Liberty Half Dollars,...

When it comes to coin collecting, there are a lot of easy ways to make simple errors or mistakes that can lead to a much worse experience coin collecting, whether it's in the form of having less fun/fulfillment or losing lots of value on the money you put into coin collecting. I tried to set out and create a video about 10 of the things that you want to stay away from as a collector and present them in the video above. If you have any other mistakes you think I may have forgot, I'd love for you...

Enjoyed doing a really fun and somewhat valuable coin roll hunt of $25 in pennies. We started out kind of slowly, but quickly ramped up the pace as wheat pennies started to flow in. All of a sudden, we found a really old penny with a Denver mint mark, making it one of the more memorable coin roll hunts in my career. Still looking to find a proof penny or Indian Head Cent penny, but it's definitely worth watching to check out the reaction to a very cool coin roll hunting penny find.

Welcome to the start of my new World Coin Wednesday series, a group of videos where we unbox a half pound of mixed foreign and world coins from all over the world! For this series, I bought some world coin lots and then paid extra to supplement it with a better mix... and it certainly has been showing! There has been a good amount of silver, older foreign coins, and really cool countries that I haven't seen coins from before. Hope you enjoy this series of videos as much as I did while I was...

I just coin roll hunted $25 worth of pennies from my bank and got some really good finds!!! They include two 100+ year old Wheat Pennies and a beautiful Lincoln Memorial Proof Penny! There were also a lot of wheats... I have three more boxes from the same bank so hopefully the good luck keeps up! ANS Curator Robert Hoge is a favorite speaker at coin conventions. In this presentation he compares the different die marriages of the 1794 cent to the brides of a royal wedding. In particular he emphasizes her beauty as a woman as well as a coin and also discusses their rarity in terms of Sheldon number and status in the ANS Clapp collection. Speaker(s): Robert Hoge.
