3D model of a baked clay tablet from  ancient Mesopotamia (current-day Iraq), from about 2,000 BCE. This  small  tablet (approx. 2.5cm x 2.5cm)  is incised with cuneiform script on both sides.   The first line appears to read "3 liters of first rate beer". This 3D model was created with a David (now HP) structured light scanner from the original, held by Middlebury College Special Collections.
