Apostel-Paulus-Strasse and Salzburger Strasse, Schoeneberg
View onto so-called May Beetle square (Maikäferplatz) situated at Apostel-Paulus-Strasse on the corner with Salzburger Strasse. The building on the right had the adress Apostel-Paulus-Strasse 17, the central building is on Salzburger Strasse and carried the number 16. Both buildings were destroyed during WWII. The square still exists. On the pavement one can recognise the may beetle as a mosaic. The year 1901 must be wrong since this area - which constitutes a part of the Bavarian Quarter of the city of Schoeneberg (today a borough of Berlin) - was only build after 1905. Probably transposed digits.
