really excellent
not sure what the origin of this little short is, I originally thought it might be some kind of psa, but there isn't really any heavy handed message to go along with it. It's just this very subtle little snapshot of a family summer, and one of the most genuine and accurate portrayals of girlhood I've seen.

Beautiful
I unexpectedly really loved this. Very quiet & serene. Feels like a summer day at the lake. Very calming to watch.

Wonderfully Told
Just enough words to tell of a hidden story developing within a young woman who struggles with finding & creating boundaries. At first she quietly explores the burden of a family dynamic that raises awareness of the kinds of problems other people are having as individuals and how this impacts their relationships to the other members of a family.
Pushed to the limit, she catches a glimpse of her freedom by distancing herself from other people's problems and finding time to be alone with herself as an individual.
To her relief, a special person rewards her risk taking and recognizes her new challenge.

Lake Woe Begun
Your waiting for an Insane Jack Nicholson or some goon in a hockey goalie mask to pop up { dun dun..dun dun...dun dun } at any moment. Totally Creeped Out feel to this bizarre little project.
