This collection serves to bring together advertisments for a variety of products and services for items sold within the United Kingdom. This doesn't mean this collection contains products manufactuered in the United Kingdom, but instead products sold (thus advertised) in the United Kingdom. Advertisments (also referred to as "commercials" or "adverts") are a time honoured tradition of promoting the sale of a product or services to the general public and can come in many...

Gore Verbinski, the TV-commercials director responsible for the Budweiser frogs, directed this Adam Rifkin screenplay about two brothers (Nathan Lane and Lee Evans) who inherit a string factory and a decaying country home after the death of their father (the late William Hickey, in his last role). After moving in, they learn that the house has historical architectural importance and is valued in the millions. However, they are constantly tormented by a mouse within the walls. They engage in...

KaBlam! (stylized as KaBLaM! ) is an American animated sketch comedy that ran on Nickelodeon from 1996 to 2000. The show was developed as a fully animated showcase for alternative forms of animation that were more common in indie films and commercials . [3] Each episode thus features a collection of short films in multiple innovative styles of animation, bridged by the characters Henry and June, who introduce the shorts and have adventures of their own in between. Although ...

This is the original ABC-TV cut of the film Duel that aired as the "Movie of the Weekend" back in '71. This copy is a TV rip from around 2008 from British TV, I cut out all of the commercials, funnily enough there was only one break during the whole film. This has many differences to the theatrical cut we are familiar with, many scenes in the theatrical cut were filmed after the TV version became a sensation. The phone call between David and his wife and the scene with the school bus...

The Movie Orgy is a 1968 film directed by Joe Dante and produced by Jon Davison . [1] It was an evolving compilation of film clips, commercials, and film trailers, initially assembled by Dante when he was an undergraduate at the Philadelphia College of Art. At its longest, it ran for seven-and-a-half hours [2] and could be considered the analog prelude to the mash-up videos and supercut edits now prevalent on digital platforms like YouTube and Vimeo. America's favorite family shake their booties in an obscure cult variety show.Included are high quality copies of all nine episodes (some including the original commercials, alternate endings, etc.), the Donny & Marie sketch that launched the Bradys' second series, interviews, musical performances by Fake Jan (Geri Reischl), and much more. I received the show on the proviso that I could freely distribute this rarity (which was mostly overlooked on DVD due to music rights renegotiations)...

Carnivale is an obscure animated film released in 1999 by Terraglyph Productions. It was directed by Deane Taylor, the art director for The Nightmare Before Christmas, and is about a group of children who discover a haunted amusement park. All versions of this film were lost media for an excessive period of time, which is why I'm uploading them here. The English version was ripped by me from a Chinese/Taiwanese DVD of the film (known there as 惡童樂園). It also contains English and Chinese...

So I saw people were saying Space Jam premiered on TV in 1999, no that is not true! About a year ago I found this tape at a thrift shop, the tape label said JFK (3 hrs), Space Jam and Dennis Leary (Comedy). I picked the tape up mainly because it said Space Jam. To my surprise it was the premiere of Space Jam! Tape audio is not the best but still good. The video sometimes losses tracking but it only happens a few times. Now this was recorded in 1997 but the actual date I don't know, it have to...

Some off-air television recordings from the New York metropolitan area. One is an installment of WEEKEND UPDATE from a SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE edition of somewhere in March 1989, as recorded off of WNBC-TV4. This is followed by the original March 28, 1989 broadcast an installment of ROSEANNE titled "Toto, We're Not in Kansas Anymore" (season one, episode twenty) off of WABC-TV7. Then, there is a near-complete recording of a rerun of the episode "Lovers' Lane" (season one,...

A collection of US commercials for products you can no longer buy. Forgive me if there's any mistakes. Sometimes the brand is still around but the exact product is gone (such as with "Futurama" lipstick by Revlon), sometimes both the product and brand are gone (such as with "Tip Toni"). Some only exist in-name-only, while at least one product is no longer available in the US but is still sold in another country. The commercials are mainly from the 1950s, along with some from...

In the days before the iconic breakout of Sesame Street , Jim Henson was an experimental jack of all trades - puppeteer, comedian, designer, actor, Oscar-nominated filmmaker, singer - who used his gifts for legitimately thousands of hours of content. Honing numerous characters, themes and even verbatim sketches for later projects, Henson's genius was apparent even from these early works - his understanding of television, filmmaking, puppetry and character being put to great use.
