Cumtux is the quarterly publication of the Clatsop County Historical Society. The word Cumtux means to know or to understand in Chinook Jargon, a nineteenth-century trade language used throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Scrapbook with hardback maroon covers. The spine and the corners of front and back covers are tan-colored. Slanted across the front cover in a raised font is the word, "ALBUM." This album's front and back covers are still attached to the spine material, but have fallen from the actual pages. The pages themselves are white, with the articles glued inside.
