The photograph was reproduced in the July 1919 issue of the Southern Pacific Bulletin (p. 14) which identifies the men, from left to right as: H. C. Venter, General Foreman Locomotive Department; A. D. Williams, Superintendent of Motive Power; D. S. Watkins, Superintendent of Shops and J. Hall, Master Car Repairer.
