Cultural & Academic Films

This library of academic and cultural films features collections from the Academic Film Archive and the Media Burn Independent Film Archive, as well as a selection of documentaries created by Dorothy Fadiman. In addition, films from the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archeology and Anthropology are presented including those by Watson Kintner who used film to document his world travels, and the popular television show from the 1950s: “What in the World?”

Filmed in 1968, this is self-described as a 22-minute "televised Christmas card from the campus at Pullman."  The film combines winter campus scenes with Christmas songs from the Washington State University Madrigal Singers, the University Brass Choir, and the University Concert Choir.  It was filmed by WSU Television student cameramen, produced by Burt Harrison, and directed by Michael McNamee and David Miller.  It is held at the WSU Libraries' Manuscripts, Archives, & Special...
