A cookbook that uses humor and comic book style layout blended into an enjoyable whole. The recipes are described in the type, and the procedure is shown graphically.  Pages are different colors throughout. The whole is a cookbook about having an enjoyable time more than about the specific recipes

Go-chi-so *Good Food* is an educational booklet about Japanese-American Cookery created by Nancy Mayeda. In this 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" xeroxed booklet, Mrs. Mayeda shared some of the Japanese culture and customs handed down to her by her family as a third generation Japanese-American. The recipes in this booklet were selected because of the easy accessibility of ingredients and also easy adaptability to the classrooms.  Published circa late 1970’s.
