Fangoria is an internationally distributed American horror film fan magazine, in publication since 1979. At the height of its popularity in the 1980s and early '90s it was the most prominent horror publication in the world. The magazine was released in an age when horror fandom was still a burgeoning subculture; in the late 1970s most horror publications were concerned with classic cinema, while those that focused on contemporary horror were largely fanzines. Fangoria rose to prominence by...

A eight minute episode of BatMan to introduce Bat Girl. The ratings at this were low and Yvonne Craig as Bat Girl was there to boost the ratings. This "episode" was shown to the "suits" of 20th century fox and never aired. I figure it's PD.

A live tv production of Frankenstein from the anthology series Tales of Tomorrow. Legend has it that Lon Chaney Jr. (playing the monster) was unaware that it wasn't a rehearsal, so rather than break up props as planned, he simply put them down. While he certainly does some odd things with the chairs and appears to ask a question to somebody off stage (at 12:04), he does break up some props, and certainly isn't the only one flubbing (or was 'elictricigate' a word in the day of Mary Shelley?)...

This could be considered a rip off of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1956) and Roger Corman's "It Conquered the World," except for something you will only discover by watching it, and it is worth watching. This is a surprisingly good little drive-in sci fi flick considering the extreme limitations of its $30,000 budget. Directed by Bruno VeSota. Released in 1958. a.k.a. The 2am Theater strikes again with another insomniac double feature. Our adventures in wacky science begin with coming attractions and a cartoon.
