In 1970, Kellogg's Cereal held a promotion in which children saved and sent away box tops and were rewarded with this 45 soundtrack album. It doesn't include the opening theme song (which may have been tied up in litigation at the time), and a handful of other songs were omitted, but it's the only official release that most of these tunes have ever had. A few tracks subsequently surfaced on Sid & Marty Krofft compilation CDs, but they were sourced from the same vinyl album.

Lidsville is Sid and Marty Krofft's third television show following H.R. Pufnstuf (1969) and The Bugaloos (1970). As did its predecessors, the series combined two types of characters: conventional actors in makeup filmed alongside performers in full mascot costumes, whose voices were dubbed in post-production. Seventeen episodes aired on Saturday mornings on ABC for two seasons, 1971–1973. The show was rebroadcast on NBC Saturday mornings the following season.

Comedy starring domestic ducks and other animals dressed in miniature human costumes. African Americans play stereotypical and degrading comedy roles. The second film in the Our Gang series. Great slow-motion shots of "drunken" animals. Some good shots to be logged.

This 1929 musical, shot in an early Technicolor process, is a mostly lost film. Only incomplete copies of the final two reels, plus the complete Vitaphone soundtrack, still exist. What does remain gives us a tantalizing glimpse at what was surely an extraordinary example of early sound cinema! Hotel orchestras, Waltzes, Fox Trots and more at 78 RPM.  When it’s 78 O’Clock, the past is always the present. This show was a sampling of lighter, pop music found on 78 RPM records. Groups like Herbert Gordon’s Adelphi Hotel Whispering Orchestra, The Manhatten Merrymakers, Horace Heidt and his Musical Knights and Nev Simons and his Ambassadors Of Note provide music suitable for either foreground or background. Nothing very stellar or memorable here, just great music to meander by....
