Recorded 7/30/1914, this has been in my collection since 1957, and probably originally bought by my great-grandfather Charles Caples. The record has developed a 2" radial crack which I have super-glued, but Audacity masterfully suppressed the pop induced. This is an interesting recording by Arthur Collins, recorded on Edison in 1900 with pianist Frank P. Banta. Collins was known for singing coon songs, but this happens to be a popular Irish Song from the same year.
