Turn of Century generic, Non-Electric, sewing machine manual. Here is an interesting 'find.' There is no brand name noted nor Company Information, nor approx. date of publication. The machine is very similar to the old pedal operated Singer sewing machines that came out around the end of the 19th century. If anyone has any information to add about this machine, or booklet, please leave a post below. I would like to know more about the origin of.
Topics: Sewing Machine, pedal operated, instruction, manual, late 19th century

" The Philosophy of Dress " is an essay by Oscar Wilde  that appeared in  The New-York Tribune  in 1885. The essay remained unknown to scholarship until 2012 when it was rediscovered and published for the first time in book form by Wilde historian John Cooper in  Oscar Wilde On Dress (CSM Press, 2013), making it the only previously unknown work that Wilde intended for publication to have been released since he died in 1900. The essay is Wilde's treatise on  Victorian Dress...
