Brrrrrr..... This was a cold, misty morning at Sahali Falls. We weren't expecting so much packed snow and ice, and had to abort our attempts to explore along the river. :) It was quite spectacular. I'd love to catch it during a clod snap when the entire area around the falls is coating with ice. Part of a series of free stock video clips offered by MotherNatureVideos.com

From www.slightlymadscience.com This is a result of my first viewer suggestion...Use science to melt a Barbie doll. I personally find Bratz dolls more annoying, so I included them too! The demonstration is to see which of the two commonly available and powerful solvents (Xylene and Acetone) affects the dolls more adversely. Keep watching to the end, that's when it gets HOT and a bit 'splodey! Music courtesy of Awake In The Nightmare (www.myspace.com/awakeinthenightmare).

Video recorded April 8th, 2016. A bird caught within the hazardous loose folds of multiple layers of netting over an apartment building courtyard struggles to free itself. After a fire in 2011, the property managers chose to add additional layers of netting rather than carefully patching or replacing the damaged netting. The burnt edges of the original layer of netting are visible at the beginning of the video as are the bones of a dead bird, dangling from the netting in the lower right of the...

The housing has been built, testing complete, now it's time to play. Pool time. For bonus points, how many seperate clips are in this video? No special transitions or effects have been used. Just simple cut clips and arrange (well, a little speed change in one section). So how many clips in this video? (There are less then 10)

The Aqua satellite orbits the Earth every 99 minutes in a polar, sun-synchronous orbit. The MODIS instrument on Aqua observes reflected light from the Earth in 36 spectral frequencies. These observations can be processed to show many properties of the Earth's surface, from temperature and phytoplankton measurements near the surface of the ocean to fire occurrences and land cover characteristics on the land surface. This animation shows MODIS ocean color data from about 4 days of individual Aqua...
