As the sun rises in an orange-hued sky filled with birds in flight above a coastline, the camera watches seagulls soar, swoop and scavange for food from a huge garbage dump. At a distance, a lone sick bird limps, struggles, and finally dies while his unconcerned, uncaring fellows carry on their rapacious repast. No narration

1972. "Water Colours" is an experimental art film by Michael Collier. Collier used music, colour manipulations, optical printing effects, and other techniques to create an overall psychedelic effect. Starting with two 100' rolls of 16mm film shot on his Bolex camera Collier spent many hours over two years in the lab printing and reprinting the footage on different film using 'wrong' chemicals; he also experimented with multiple passes in the printer mixing colour negative and positive...

HD 720 - Short film / Music Video    Infinity Dream from the Internet Archive collection of the same name felt like it would work well with the visuals I'd been working with. The background imagery was shot in Tucson, Arizona in early 2017 and consists of still photography. The flight imagery is from the Public Domain. Under pressure to post the Infinity Dream Collection , which I'd slated for 2016,  I included a mix of the title track I wasn't 100% on. The remixed version is used here. ...
