This is the tale of a young woman who abandons her fiancé, and runs off with a circus performer. Things do not end well. The movie was heavily censored when originally shown in the US due to its erotic content. It is notable for the natural acting style of Asta Nielsen, a method unseen at the time in American cinema. There are many missing and degraded frames due to deterioration of the nitrate-based film used in making the picture. Stars: Asta Nielsen, Poul Reumert, Hans Neergaard, Robert...

From IMDB : A detective investigating the death of a heroin-addicted prostitute uncovers evidence pointing to the existence of a murderous devil cult. This MPEG2 was ripped from Mill Creek's Gore and More 10 Movie box set, this version is sort of widescreen (letterboxed) but it was apparently cropped on both sides to make it a more matted widescreen (why?) I just wanted to let you know that I didn't do this, it was probably whoever was in charge of releasing this film on home media originally....

I enhanced the sound, and lightened the pirnt a bit. Also, this is the French version, so it has more scenes than the AKA version Dracula Vs, Frankenstein (Also avilible here in fullscreen.) What a sad film for poor Micheal Rennie (THe Day The Earth Stood Still) to finish his career on.
